Progressive, technical and melodic death-thrasing metal. Got that? Good. That is one way to summarise Amoral, the Helsinkian band celebrating its 10th anniversary, and also their third album "Reptile Ride". But, you know, better not try to sum them up in neat little package in any of the myriad sub-genres of Metal. Ten years. How did that happen? As per tradition Amoral started as band playing covers, and their ilk was thrash metal. Staying within these confines they most definitely would have not survived for a decade. Thus it happened that the ambitions of the founders Ben varon, Silver Ots and Juhana Karlsson demanded them to move on. And thus, the real Amoral we've come to know was born. At the time of their second demo "Other Flesh" in 2002, the band started to get noticed in the blatantly overblown metal scene of Helsinki/the whole of Finland. Their unquestionable musical skills proven, their liveshows were already then the hot topic of many a peer group. Their unbridled enthusiasm combined with absolute professionalism caught also the attention of the sadly demised label Rage of Achilles. Later picking at the remains of RoA Spikefarm opted to release anew Amoral's debuting effort "Wound Creations". After rave reviews the band took their musical maginficence abroad. Europe was ready to be taken. More fame and success followed their second album "Decrowning" and ensuing tours. At first Amoral seemed the follow a very distinct path, but now that has expanded to a proper highway, to say the least. Courage and trust in their skills is mandatory when a band starts experimenting with their music; when one thinks outside the box, steps out of the genre-specifics. The end result does not sound scattered but varied, and Amoral sounds more and more like themselves. Envigouring this death-scented barrage is a secret ingredient extracted from the unadulterated essence of rock'n'roll. This mixture makes for an interesting and refreshing brew. And as we heat things up, up to a point of cataclysmic embreachment, we can also mellow it out by some smoothly flowing melody-driven passages. Thus the overall result is softened a notch, which one using fancy words might call dynamic. Never fear. Your favourite band has not wimped out. It's still technical, and heavy as hell. It's still raunchy, saucy and feisty. And there are manly man-vocals roaring in the upheaval of this deathly musical turbulence. To put it bluntly: it has matured. This is not inherently abad thing. You'll see.I mean, hear. Go now, the reptile awaits.

Putrid Inbred started out life as a fun way to keep playing music for founding member Phat-D(drums) and Big Hair Freetie (guitar). They both just stopped playing in their respective bands (Cancerous Religion, X-Rated B and Chaos). Soon they realized this could be more than just a passtime and called in some reinforcements. These came in the shape of Stefaan (Chaos), Peter (X-Rated-B) and Peutie (Derogatory). This all happened in the blessed year 1999. Freetie left the band in early 2000, because he didn't have enough time. He was strategically replaced by local madman Lovely Lieven (Derogatory). His influence on the music was considerable. Still in 2000 Peter D decided he had enough of music but not boose and subsequently left the band. By this time Freetie had come to his sences and reunited with the inbred gang. In 2001 everybody felt it was time for something more substancial and a demo was recorded in the awesome 'Slap your wife silly' studios. This abomination was recorded and produced by Johannes Bellinck and beired the name 'Flesh Over Religion' (sold out by now) By the end of 2001, after series of great and less great gigs + a few disagreements, Stefaan left Putrid Inbred. The band found a super substitute in the person of Mike. This was a great thing for the band and the music. Between 2002 and 2004 nothing out of the extraordinary happened untill the bom dropped. Freetie was going to leave us again, never to return! The remaining bandmembers decided not to look for any replacements and continued as a four man piece, but in the beginning of the year 2006 Steven (ex-Serial Butcher) joined the Inbred gang on vocals allongside Peutie. In 2007 the band received a record deal with Shiver Records and went to the famous CCR studio to record their first full cd entitled "Scavenger".

Improving upon the foundation of technical, neck-snapping death metal they helped build beginning in the late 1980s, IMMOLATION lumber forth with the seventh chapter in their legendary career, Shadows in the Light. The group recorded their latest collection of deathly dirges within the hallowed halls of Millbrook Sound Studios, once home to such diverse acts as Anthrax, Zakk Wylde and Twisted Sister. With song titles like "Deliverer of Evil," "Lying with Demons" and "Whispering Death," listeners can expect no less than top form. And what is top form for a group that Metal Maniacs calls "one of the premier American death metal bands"? Expect thunderous riffs, hellish vocals and the most earth-shaking drums the genre has spawned in years. IMMOLATION trademarks like discordant harmonies, distinctive grooves and the gloomiest of atmospheres are all well represented in their purest, most unadulterated fashion. "The new stuff is more extreme in a lot of ways. It's much more tense and angry than the last couple of records," says Ross Dolan (bass/vocals). "It's more refined, straight-forward and fine-tuned." Returning with the same lineup as their previous release, Harnessing Ruin, dubbed "the most skull-crushing of their entire necro-rompin" career by Revolver Magazine, the group finds itself uncharacteristically stable, allowing for chemistry not present in their formative years. ounding members Dolan and Robert Vigna (guitar) join Bill Taylor (guitar) and Steve Shalaty (drums) to form the group's most consistently punishing lineup to date. Those who saw IMMOLATION with labelmates Arch Enemy at the Arnhem Metal Meeting in Europe last December can attest to their frighteningly tight set. he band will be headlining gigs from Spain to Holland in June with support from fellow legends and death-mongers Grave and Krisiun. Plans to return Stateside or what will surely be a devastating North American campaign are in the works. If you've missed out on these much-heralded exporters of death and destruction, Shadows in the Light is your opportunity to witness history in the making.

Demonical was spawned in March 2006 - by former Centinex members Johan Jansson (guitars & vocals), Martin Schulman (bass) and Ronnie Bergerståhl (drums) - with a mission to return to the roots of death metal and deliver a sheer dose of darkness and brutality. The first audio assault - a four track promo attack entitled "Bloodspell Divine" - was recorded at Necromorbus Studios (Watain, Ondskapt) during July the same year. The disc packed with true swedish hellfire received great reviews and reactions within the scene and led to several offers from interested labels. In November 2006 Demonical added vocalist Ludvig Engellau (Remasculate) to the line-up - 'cause Johan wanted to fully concentrate on the six-string axe - and signed a worldwide multialbum deal with german Cyclone Empire. The bands first full-lenght album - entitled "Servants Of The Unlight" - was recorded at both Black Lounge and Necromorbus Studios during January and February 2007 and released in April the same year. Hail the death metal victory !!

Toxic Bonkers was set up in 1993 by Marcin Klimaszewski (Klimer) and Konrad Sobierajski (Sobieraj). Several reshuffles formed the first lineup with Klimer, Sobieraj, Dzuma (bass) and Majowy (vocals). In 1994 Toxic Bonkers recorded their first demo, which included their first numbers such as “Nazi fuckers”, “Apatia” or “Klamstwa w imie boga”. The recording had been sold in an impressive number of 4000 copies, which effected in numerous concerts, interviews and reviews and an increase of the band’s popularity. For over two years Toxic Bonkers had been showing up at European music scene. In 1996 Dzuma was replaced by Grelka (so-called Mlody due to his young age). With this lineup the band recorded their first full-length album “If The Dead Could Talk”, released by Italian S.O.A. Records in 1997, including such numbers as “Goodness Destroyed”, “Black Punx” and “XXI Wiek”. The cassette was also released by a Polish label – Pop Noise from Lódz. It sold out in the similar quantity to “Demo”, which resulted in Toxic Bonkers’ appearance in mail-order selling chains all over the world and also numerous Polish and foreign compilations. Right after the release the band decided to replace the vocalist Majowy with Grabarz, for their music to become more grind-sound due to his growling. The new lineup (Klimer, Sobieraj, Grelka and Grabarz) recorded their second LP called “Blindness”, which included both new songs and numbers from “Demo” re-arranged in new, more merciless, brutal versions. “Blindness”, containing of 17 numbers, appeared in 2000 under the sign of a “Carnage to fragile ears, feast to the gourmets” in Nikt Nic Nie Wie label. Just before the recording was released, Toxic Bonkers decided to reinforce the lineup with a second guitar player to make their music more diverse and sophisticated. Thus, Rafal Przybylak (Mumin) – a new, ambitious, metal-based guitarist joined the band. Thereby, Toxic Bonkers took another step towards their music progress. In 2000, as the ”Blindness” appeared, after a long struggle, a fatal disease took away Sobieraj (R.I.P.) - the band’s core and spirit. Toxic Bonkers’ future was looking dim, as Klimer, Konrad’s best friend, had been regarding to finish up with the band. Nevertheless, after many moments of doubts and hours of reflection, they managed to overcome the bad times. A new guitar player, Mumin’s apprentice, Bartek Wojtysiak (Sme) appearance was like a fresh breeze in the band’s ranks, that gave it a drive to continue playing. However, not everything played along with them and soon Grabarz left Toxic Bonkers, which held the new album plans for some time. In 2002 Toxic Bonkers had been reinforced by a young, 17-year-old vocalist, Kuba Ziomkowski (qboot). In this new lineup, the band worked hard to record a new CD, which was partly Sobieraj’s job. 10 new numbers were finally recorded in PJ Reda Records label in 2003. The band gave several concerts in Poland and in autumn 2003 they hit the road with gore grind masters Dead Infection and death metal group Abysal, giving 10-gig tour, named the Grind Tour De Pologne III. Enthusiastic reactions of the public become the beginning of more Toxic Bonkers concerts both in Poland and abroad. In the late spring of 2004 the band with their new stuff reached Selfmadegod Records label from Biala Podlaska and on September 11 the new album “Seeds of Cruelty” was released. The CD occurred a great success regarding thousands of copies sold and made a big mess in Polish and European music. Hype and havoc the album caused, together with numerous enthusiastic international reviews and interviews opened the gates of new concerts, incl. Metal Heads’ Mission in the Ukraine in August of 2004 and 2005, Massa Brutto Fest in Minsk, Belarus, gigs in Russia, Ukraine, in Czech Republic and the festivals such as Merciless East in Chelm in the mid-2004 and Hellfest in Leszno at the beginning of 2005. In September of 2004, Toxic Bonkers hit the road along Poland with Trauma and Mess Age. The tour became controversial as it finished after only three gigs due to its organizer's incompetence and the memory of its failure widely echoed in Polish music. This year also the set of groups along which Toxic Bonkers played with widened with Pungent Stench, Frontside, Trauma and even Napalm Death! From the very beginning of 2006 Toxic Bonkers worked upon their new material, playing numerous concerts with Parricide from Chelm, Polish death/grind top group. The summer of 2006 brought one of the best European grind core festivals – the Obscene Extreme Festival in Trutnov, Czech Republic and another big fest in Poland – HutnerFest in Szczytno, with a several thousand public. After 10 years play, the bassist, Grelka, had to leave us, nevertheless, luckily we found Veedmo - young and very ambitious musician, who played in a punk band called Obstrukcja Obslugi. He is 22, just like qboot, and full of energy and desire to play. For now, we are after recording our latest LP, which will be called "Anti-Violence". It consists of 10 fresh tracks of three music genres: death metal, hardcore and grindcore of course, which are mixed even more than ever and has its premiere on 21st May 2007 in Selfmadegod Records. In May 2007 after a few meetings and rehearsals, Wojtek "Grelka" Grelewski rejoined the band and is now responsible for sampling and second vocal, so currently Toxic Bonkers has 6 members.

DEFEATED SANITY was formed c.1994 as a project of Wolfgang Teske (guitar) and Lille Gruber (drums) with the intention to play the most brutal and intense Death Metal possible. The band started playing shows in 1996 with the help of session musicians Jonas Gruber (bass) and Robert Colnik (vocals). With this line-up the band also recorded 2 demos ‘Devoured By The Black’ (1996) and ‘Withdrawn From Beauty’ (1998). The next step was to find musicians able to play the very complicated and difficult songs. Those guys were Tino Köhler (bass) and Christian Münzner (guitar). In 2001 Czech label GRODHAISN PRODUCTIONS released a split cd with POPPY SEED GRINDER with vocals by Marcus Keller. Also recorded in 2001 was the ‘Collapsing Human Failures’ contribution to the Split 7” EP with IMPERIOUS MALEVOLENCE, which would be the last containing guitarist Christian Münzner (who then became part of NECROPHAGIST). In late 2004 the band released their debut full length album, 'Prelude To The Tragedy' on UK label GRINDETHIC RECORDS. Defeated Sanity has now undergone further line-up changes with Jens Staschel joining on vocals, Christian Kuehn on guitar and Jacob Schmidt filling in on bass. In August 2006 the band entered Soundlodge Studios and recorded their second album, 'Psalms Of The Moribund' which is due for release on GRINDETHIC RECORDS in early 2007. The new album contains the bands most crushing material yet.

Roger Santallusia and Gerard Porqueres, members of the trash-death metal band Mortuary, decided to begin a new project together when this one vanished. The band began playing death metal influenced by bands like Death, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse and many more… During this period of the band creation (called in the beginning Triskaidekaphobia) They suffered some changes from the members. At first it was with Gerard Porqueres at the guitar, Alex Medvedev at the Drums, Miquel Rey at the bass and Roger Santallusia as the vocalist. The band turn to a harder style of music because of the influences of bands like Devourment, Disgorge(USA), Dying Fetus and Suffocation. Miquel Rey abandoned his place in the band and Roger Santallusia took it keeping also his task as the vocalist. By the end of 2005 Daniel Montalà joined the band as the bass player and Roger changed the bass for the guitar. After a short time they established as the present-day (Gerard-guitar/vocals, Roi-main vocals/bass, alex-drums) and took the name of Haemophagia beginning like this to compose the songs that currently are showing. In may of 2006 they recorded the first demo “Triple Shot Demo” in their own jam room/home studio with the help of their friend Francesc Moreno “Franki”. This one includes: Head shot, Vengeance through murder and Her body on a viscera bath. Later, in the June of the same year the band recorded the single Head shot at Sonograma studios (Albatàrrec) whit Carlos Corzán as sound engineer. Head shot was subsidized by Ilerrock and it is included in the CD Ilerrock IV. Nowadays the band is preparing what it will be its first CD. 17/3/07 the band sign with Pathologically Explicit Recordings for the edition of this CD.

1997: INSISION crawled out of the ashes of underground acts EMBALMER and ILDOOR in Stockholm, Sweden, the aim was to create brutal Death Metal in absurdum. To create something different then wath was growing in the Swedish scene that year. Something Brutal. Something Deadly...INSISION - 1998: Debut demo "Meant to Suffer " is released, and INSISION is acclaimed as one of the most promising new Death metal acts of Sweden. Soon after Roger of DISFIGURED joins the band, immediately taking musical command & drives the band towards new heights of technical brutality. The record labels starts to notice INSISION, and in the end of the year they sign for Heathendoom Music. The 97-98 line up contains Joonas Ahonen on guitar and Johan Thornberg on Vocals - 1999: The debut MCD "The Dead Live On" is recorded at the Necromorbus Studio, and released shortly after.(Also re-released by Immortal souls pro. 2002)The album was different compared to other brutal Swedish Death Metal bands, no other Swedish band had ever sounded as American as INSISION. On this recording; Joonas Ahonen on guitar and Johan Thornberg on Vocals who where shortly to leave the band for personal resons. After this, Roger & drummer Tomas developed the technical brutality of the band even further. INSISION soon recruits DELLAMORTEs bass player Daniel Ekroth and AZATOTHs singer Carl Birath. With the new line up things starting to happening. This is The INSISION we know Today. The new line-up begins a row of live-shows with bands like Dark Funeral, Merciless and The Haunted etc... - 2000: A new demo "Promo 2000" is recorded at the Real Studio. The result is sheer brutality & precision to the limit! After this, more shows followed with HYPOCRISY, NECROPHOBIC, MERCILESS etc. Now INSISION really showed what they where made of! - 2001: Guitarist Toob of GENOCHRUSH FEROX joins the band, and INSISION soon had their debut show as a five-piece as opening act for DISGORGE (mex). Necromorbus Studio is visited once again to record an earlier planned 10 split E.P with INVERACITY for Nuclear Winter (also out as a demo under the name Revelation of the Sado God). Shortly after INSISION signs to Earache/Wicked World. In October, the full-length debut "Beneath the Folds of the Flesh" is recorded in the mighty Berno Studio (THE HAUNTED, DERANGED etc). - 2002: Beneath the Folds of the Flesh" is set for release in April. The response to the album is awesome and as expected... Tours and gigs are made . And INSISION is revealed unto the world - 2004: After building a reputation of themselves Insision hits the studio again to compose yet another indept look into the world of INSISION... released in July 04 Revealed and Worshipped is brought unto the world.... in the same time Members T. daun (Drums) and T. Brynedal (second guitar) leavs INSISION and left are the main machines in the band, Carl, Roger and Daniel who aren't short in replacing T. Daun as drummer. In mid -04 Thomas Daun is replaced by monster drum-molester Marcus Jonsson from Stockholmian Thrash act Pandemonic. A European SUFFOCATION tour is lying ahead plus a couple of other feasts, gigs and smaller mini tours... This year gave both opportunities and smaller drawbacks... But in the end INSISION gained more then they lost. And so the wheel keeps spinning! - 2005: After the awesome SUFFOCATION tour along w/ DISGORGE (us) and DEMENTOR in late 2004 and the fast line up change within the band, Insision was ready for the world once more and gets an offer during a Finland headline trip w/ GODHATE, to do a Scandinavian tour w/ THE HAUNTED on the eminent 'CLOSE UP MADE US DO IT' tour with Mac Jonsson Behind the drums, a SUFFOCATION tour in the gig-bag and all waste dumped INSISION is unstoppable and makes a fabulous tour around Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark) just to return home to even more tour-offers and gigs.... Also INSISION starts working on the third studio album since the signing on EARACHE/WICKED WORLD in 2001 . Working on new material between concert's and preparing for the last tours this year (UK, AUSTRALIA, SOUTH EAST ASIA) Planning to, after that, put all concentration on the making of the new album... Hopefully coming out in late -06 or early -07 -- 2007: Insision Signs new deal with Dental Rec in Stockholm. Unleashing the new Album IKON upon the world!
