Named as DATURA, we started our activity in May 1999. The line-up was as follows: Dimas — v, Bob — g, Roma — b, Burzhuy — d. Our gigging covered eastern regions mainly. We used to kick asses altogether with Mental Demise, Disorder Defection and Bredor. In February 2000 2-piece demo was recorded at Beasts Studio (Gorlovka). Herewith active promotion in zines, labels and concert agencies started. We recorded the first full-length called «Fucking State» at our own studio, Durman Records. It was released in MC-format by Bloodhead Productions in November 2000. Almost immediately its second release by Eclectic Productions with other cover design followed. And gigs, more gigs, even more gigs all time long. We played at any possible zalupa if you can dig it, men. Having got agreement with Eclectic Productions, we had two MC-splits released at once, these are DATURA «Odurmanization» (2-song demo, 1 live track and 2 Slayer covers) /MENTAL DEMISE «Psychopenetration» and DATURA «Live in Sfinctor» (this was recorded during live show in Bavaria pub) /BREDOR «Zhivoe Bredopomeshatelstvo». The last release with line-up mentioned was «Kaput», recorded at Durman Recs and released by Eclectic Productions in MC-format in January 2002. Scarcely the recording had been over, our formation started going through line-up changes. The drummer and bass player left us, a few shows were cancelled. But in February we recruited new members. Those were Kolyok — d (ex-B.) and John — b (ex-M.). Our cooperation was resulted in a few local gigs and rehearsal promo waiting for its release. Both guys left for good in summer 2002. Vacant places were taken by Alex — d (ex-B.) and Phil — b (ex-M.). At the same time DATURA got its manager in the person of Evgeny Butenko (Eclectic Productions). Our gigging activity burst out fresh. We warmed up PARRICIDE and SANATORIUM. Somewhen then Phil got lost, and the line-up was complete with Dark (ex-ESHATOS). Though soon the latter was fucked out due to his total dispossibility to play properly. So, in November 2003, Dimas had to take a bass. In March 2004 the 2nd guitarist, Antosick by name, joined us. His participation affected beneficially through the number of gigs all around UA. In summer 2004, 3-piece promo was recorded in Shaitan-Durman Rec. It was included to some undeground compilations. The 3rd full-length appeared the piece of current reality in April 2005. The CD released by Coyote Rec. (limited to 1000 copies) in July 2005 was titled «Impulse-80». Gigging activity spread to fraternal Republic of Belarus. We visited Minsk and Rechitsa in July 2005. In August of the same year we kicked asses at MHM-6 together with NAPALM DEATH. During next 2 months we used to play in Moscow and Lugansk. At the same time we arrange auditions for new contenders on drums, because Alex didn't do for us. During march 2006 we had a pseudoukrainian 7-gig tour with SMASHED FACE (czechs). As a new drummer we've got Edik from FLESHRIPPER (RIP), Donetsk. Alex's last milestone was recording of mini-CD "Mastodont 96" in may 96 (which was later - in July 2006 - released by Coyote records) and a show in Moscow, and after that our roads parted finally, for example.
