Exaltation was formed in April 1998 by Rado Niznansky(guitar), Michal Obeda (guitar), Juraj Stefanec (drums). Later Peter Erdeg, the vocalist became a member of this band Michal Obeda used to play bassguitar in the band from Nove Mesto N/V called Mysterious Eclipse. At the present he plays bass guitar together with the vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Juraj Stefanec in the band Mysterious Eclipse. Exaltation plays faster technical death metal influenced by grind, alternating slower movement.During that time the group absolved several concerts in Slovak Republic. During winter 1999 some changes took place in the organization of Exaltation.
Juraj Stefanes was left from band. The band is searching for automatic drummer. Then was added next thing - sequencer for automatic drummer. The group members decided to record in January 2001 at proffesional recording studio Exponent in Hlohovec, Slovakia. "When the purity bleeds" demo was labeled. In December 2004 we decided to record new album called "Well ... It Is Done". in Studio Moonset. We had not luck with releasing of this album. We also had not very good sound on the record, so we created some more songs nd found finally great studio with great sound. The record is called "Despair shall forsake me" and was recorded and mixed in the studio Musae Polymnia by Peter Sima in January 2006. We must say, that we're finally satisfied with sound and record. It has gone a lot of time and this album was finally released in late 2006 year by Grodhaisn Prod. in October 2006.
