The band blood rainbow was founded by Adam Szalai (guttural vocals) and Florian Juhasz (lead / solo guitarist) in may 2002. The main objective was to create an extreme and melodic mixture within the death metal scene using the swedish and floridian styles. First, we had to find such talented musicians in the hungarian scene, we could realize our ideas with. Successfully, we found Endre Vigh (drums) in september 2002, Gergo Naray (rhythm guitarist) and Peter Krizsai (bass) in spring 2003. After these, things happened faster than ever, we upgraded our few songs to be playable on stage and we recorded our first demo. After recording the demo, many concerts were due in hungary, where we gained a huge amount of fans (in our country's reference). During this short 3 years we played on many gigs, including 2004's undead extreme metal festival with VADER, 2005's undead extreme metal festival (11th june) with DISSECTION, ROTTING CHRIST. We played with VITAL REMAINS on 7th september 2006. The first album is "lethal message" with 8 tracks featuring a rough iron maiden cover song, flight of icarus, and it was (self-)released in april, 2004. When we finished the recording, we started to show the album in many places and to form a serious background in many levels musically and in attitude. We created our own multilingual webpage HTTP://WWW.DEATHMETAL.HU) and gathered an own staff to organize concerts and to inform the press always in time. In spring 2005 we began to arrange our second album, which contains more complex structured songs and is a new level for us musically, thanks to the fact, that the band got used to each other during the years. We finished the writing of the songs in 5 months and we recorded, mixed and mastered them in 2 weeks at tired and tested studio denevér (szolnok, hungary) and we printed a few discs for promotional purposes. So, on 13th september 2005, smelteries of damnation got (self-)released.Very good appreciations came with the new album, HUNGARIAN METAL HAMMER and their label, nail records took notice of us. In the 2006/03 issue of hungarian metal hammer our second full-lenght material got reviewed and we reached a much better position in the magazine's "voice trial" section than numerous famous death metal bands. One of our tracks, family in coma, took its place on the magazine's bundled cd, then on 13th march 2006 SMELTERIES OF DAMNATION got released officially, distributed by nail records. We truly feel, that our newest material would hold out in the international death metal scene, that's what the critics confirm, too. We would like to introduce this kind of death metal abroad and to deliver our music to the listeners...
